I just attended an awesome magic lecture by famous Japanese magician Shoot Ogawa, who visited the Dallas Magic Club to share some of his favorite secrets. I especially appreciated his version of the Chinese Linking Rings, which he calls "The Ninja Rings". He is one of the few magicians that can perform the classic linking ring trick with an audience volunteer holding the rings! If you know how it works, you can appreciate how amazing that is. The Great Texas Magic Festival in Wylie, Texas is off to a great start! That's me performing walk-around magic at the annual Wylie rodeo to promote ticket sales for the Night of Wonder stage magic show that will be held at the Wylie First Baptist Church Event Center on Thursday, October 29, from 7:30 until 9:00 pm. We also have strolling magic being performed on the streets and in several local restaurants the whole week from October 24th through the 29th.
