Great Texas Magic Festival

Even Captain America turned up for the show! That's me performing my walk-around magic at the Wylie, Texas magic festival last Thursday. The turnout was great, and everybody loved the magic on the street as well as the stage show at the Wylie Event Center. In fact, everybody in attendance loved the magic show so much, the Dallas Magic Clubs have already decided to put on another show next year! I'll have photographs of that stage show soon, so be watching.

Penn & Teller Performance

For once, I actually got to be a part of the audience of a magic show, instead of the guy on stage. Penn & Teller, two of my all-time favorite magicians in the whole world, performed their fantastic stage magic show at The Winstar World Casino and Hotel in Oklahoma. They absolutely blew me away with their magic, and I got to meet Penn Jillette in person for the first time! Of course, THAT photo didn't turn out, thanks to a stranger that didn't know how to push a button on a camera. But I have some great memories of the event, and the Winstar Hotel went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable one. I will definitely be going back to attend more shows there.

Charles Gauci Lecture

Well, I didn't think I would ever get to see Australian mentalist Charles Gauci again in Dallas, but lo and behold, he did return for another great and entertaining lecture! I am grateful to Charles for sharing some of his awesome secrets with me to help me improve my own magic show. By the way, the magic lectures that I attend are hosted by the Dallas Magic Clubs, and are open to anyone that has a genuine interest in learning the art and craft of magic.
